for Teachers

The ASMCF welcomes teachers in the Association’s mission to advance and develop research and education concerning modern and contemporary France in the United Kingdom.

Resources for teachers

The ASMCF has put together a series of ‘virtual special issues’ of our journal Modern & Contemporary France to support teachers of French at A-Level.

These resources are free for members of the ASMCF and are linked to the major themes and texts of the A-Level French syllabus for the main exam boards in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Take a look at our sample copy of our Virtual Special Issue on La Haine (free until Jan 2021).

Interested in finding out more? Join the ASMCF as a member and get access to all of our Virtual Special Issues to help your students to engage with in-depth and relevant research on A-Level topics.

Questions? If you have any queries about ASMCF’s resources for teachers and other benefits please contact asmcf-outreach@protonmail.com

Funding Opportunities

There are opportunities for teachers to work with academics to support outreach activities of up to £500 through our Schools' Liaison and Outreach Scheme.
